Even Kitties Get the Blues Contest

This Friday at 10 AM, this Even Kitties Get the Blues necklace will go up for auction on eBay.  And you have a chance to win a blue kitty charm/zipper pull...or some blue kitty earrings.  What do you have to do?

Easy!  Come up with your Top Reason for Clinical Depression in Cats.  Is it a bad tuna harvest?  A lost catnip mouse?  Dog stealing the cat food?

Leave your reason here in the Comment section.  On Friday, when the Blue Kitty Necklace debuts, Uncle Buck will dip her paw into the beaded hat and pull out a winner.

Check the blog to see if it's you!  Thanks for playing and have fun!

  1. Kitty's Big Girl graduates from college, gets a job and moves away from home - the room she and kitty share - into her own apartment. Kitty misses her Girl and is soooo depressed, but mom is THRILLED to get a new sewing room! http://clothdolldesign.blogspot.com/

  2. I know it's a "sad" comment, but I've noticed that kitties truly get the blues when one of their "Kitty Best Friends" passes away ... :o(

  5. A bad cat day? How can that happen when cats get EVERYTHING they want. That is the first rule in the Kitty Book of Life......I get it my way, and NOW.

But, I guess someone going to the vet and then coming home to have her sister hiss and spit at her, and keep her trapped in the kitchen. Well, I guess that is a bad cat day. :(

  6. I think my kitty Moxi gets the blues while viewing the world through a large picture window unable to go outside because the coyotes will eat her.
It drives her crazy to see the hummingbirds looking at her through that window and the bunnies munching on the plants in the front yard!

  7. Moxie gets very blue when she sits on top of the sofa viewing the world from a large picture window unable to go outside (unsupervised) because the coyotes will eat her.
The hummingbirds fly right up to the window and stare at her as if to say, "Come on out and play!"

  11. Love the necklace, and the walking across the pan of brownies. Sounds like a certain cat I know!
A bad cat day is when the adorable, but jumpy, yippy and needy dog comes to visit. Not a welcome guest for any cat with any sense of pride.
