Even Kitties Get the Blues Contest
This Friday at 10 AM, this Even Kitties Get the Blues necklace will go up for auction on eBay. And you have a chance to win a blue kitty charm/zipper pull...or some blue kitty earrings. What do you have to do?
Easy! Come up with your Top Reason for Clinical Depression in Cats. Is it a bad tuna harvest? A lost catnip mouse? Dog stealing the cat food?
Leave your reason here in the Comment section. On Friday, when the Blue Kitty Necklace debuts, Uncle Buck will dip her paw into the beaded hat and pull out a winner.
Check the blog to see if it's you! Thanks for playing and have fun!

A CHARMing Contest
Want to win a charm? "Oh, that will happen when pigs fly," you say.
Good news.
They're flying.

To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment and tell me how you use my charms, or how you would use one of my charms. A charm bracelet? A zipper pull? A tiny petting zoo? A shrine?

Leave your comment below. And a way to contact you.

(For those of you who read me on networked blogs or on the Hive, please come over to the "real blog" (http://cornerstoregoddessjewelry.blogspot.com/) and leave your comment.

On April 4th, at 6 PM PST, Uncle Buck will pull a winner from the list of comment-ees.

(No, that's not Uncle Buck. That's a dog charm.)

(And that's an angel.)
The lucky winner wins a lucky charm. (One of mine. Not the cereal.)
You can see more charms, for inspiration, right here.
So get CHARMed!

(Yes, that's Uncle Buck... looking for leprechauns.)

And the Winner Is...
I went to the Hollywood Bowl last night as the last entries rolled in. Deftly using my Blackberry, I attempted to approve all comments. Unfortunately I couldn't remember my password. So when I got home, a bit after midnight because the ride home involved a dog rescue, I attempted to approve all the entries and wake George.

George, unfortunately, had a busy night with the skunks. (He believes he is their king, and wants to marry the fairest of the skunks, Schmedley-ette.)

And George was fast asleep.

I assembled all the entries...

... and found the beaded hat.

With no help from George, I placed the entries in the beaded hat.

Then I woke George.

I explained that I just needed his paw...

...but he said he was hungry, and was getting up anyway. (You see him here attempting to scan his butt... an activity similar to one we may have pursued in our youth with copier machines.)

And finally George picked a winner!

It's Gurglefish!
Gurglefish, by the way, makes beautiful crocheted works of art, which can be found in her etsy store and her eBay store.
So... Gurglefish! Contact me (either here or on FaceBook or by email) and confirm your shipping address. George is standing by to ship your bracelet and matching earrings to you.
George and I would like to thank everyone who participated. It's been an adventure, and your input and comments mean so much to me. I shall attempt to continue to entertain and bejewel you, and I hope you'll all stick around for the next beaded giveaway,
Now back to the beading board...
