Maneki Neko Magic

Together with a whole lot of Maneki Nekos, the traditional Good Fortune Cats, we have  now raised $1000 for various relief organizations: Red Cross, Save the Children, The International Medical Corp., the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund, the Salvation Army, MercyCorps,  Peace Winds Japan, Doctors Without Borders, Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support, and World Vets.

Here's the deal.  I make the jewelry.  Earrings, which you can see in earlier posts, are $30, with $3.50 for shipping & handling within the U.S.  Of that, $30 goes to the relief organization of your choice.  I send you an invoice.  You pay.  I send your chosen charity the money, and send you your earrings, along with confirmation of the donation.  There are also necklaces and bracelets available, or I can make you a cell phone charm or zipper pull or charm.  All these items are handmade and unique.

To order, leave a comment and tell me what you want, and your email address.  Comments are not posted (unless I post them) so your email address is safe.  Let's see if we can reach a new goal of $2000.

Today there's a new bracelet to tempt you and aid Japan. I have included a Buy It Now button to make the process simpler.  If you wish to pay using an alternate method, simply contact me via this blog or my FaceBook page.  Please help spread the word.

Let Fortune Come Your Way

PRESSED GLASS & CRYSTALS (FIRE-POLISH, SWAROVSKI, & CHINESE)
a charmed bracelet

Long believed to be the beckoners of good fortune and business, maneki nekos stand by the entry of many Japanese businesses and homes.

This bracelet features 5 maneki nekos ~ enough to bring you fortune 5-fold.  Those with a right paw raised are said to beckon fortune; those with the left paw raised bring business.  Both paws raised?  All KINDS of fortune.

And at the center, there is a sterling silver two-paw maneki neko.

He is surrounded by 4 more porcelain nekos, of  the two-paw variety and the undecided variety.

Each is decorated with flowers of lavender and plum.  They dangle amidst Swarovski pearls, pressed glass hearts, fire polish and Chinese crystals in dark amethyst.  And each Cornerstoregoddess bracelet comes with a bead to protect the wearer from the evil eye.

The beads are hand wrapped with sterling silver wire onto a sterling silver chain,  approximately 7-1/2" (19 cm) in length, that closes with a silver plated lobster clasp.

This is a one-of-a-kind bracelet, handmade bracelet, absolutely unique.

The cost is $125.  Shipping is free.  Of that, $100 goes to the charity of your choice, chosen from the list above.

There is no other bracelet like it in the world, so if this one speaks to you, click the button.  If not, please spread the word.  Thanks for your help and support.
